What to expect

Itinerary

We leave the Barraterre Government Dock at 8:00 am and head North through the pristine, crystal-clear tropical waters along the numerous small sandy islands referred to as "Cays".

Big Major Cay is the home of the famous swimming pigs! You’ll want to have your camera ready to capture a picture of these swimming swines and paddling porcine!

Another amazing highlight is a stop at Leaf Cay. Here you’ll have the opportunity to see large iguanas.

We also stop at Compass Cay, where you can swim with the nurse sharks (cover charge of $15 pp).

Thunderball Grotto is another Bahamian gem and definitely a memorable stop. When the tide is low you'll be guided along a snorkelling adventure into the breathtaking clear water of the cavern where you’ll see many species of smaller fish.

We'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant on Black Point, with mouth watering native cuisine and cold Kaliks! Lunch is not included in the price of the trip.

Depending on the tide and the timing of the expedition, Captain Robert may have a few other delightful surprise stops during the return trip to Exuma.

We return to the dock around 3:30 pm.

Once you arrive and have already parked at the Barraterre Dock, you will see a member of staff in a Robert's Island Adventures uniform stationed at our boat ready to assist you.
